My journey into hospitality began soon after junior college, inspired by a family with decades of experience in the industry. In 2014, I completed my Diploma in Culinary Arts and began a rewarding career that now spans almost 12 years. I have had the privilege of working alongside renowned chefs Ajay Chopra and Vicky Ratnani, as well as accomplished Thai and Cantonese chefs. Every kitchen has shaped my growth, introducing me to diverse cuisines, techniques, flavours and cultures. These experiences continue to inspire my cooking and strengthen my commitment to creating thoughtful, memorable dining experiences.

Chef’s Signature Dish

Thai-style Nasi Goreng

Nasi Goreng is Indonesia’s famous national dish and is also widely loved across Singapore and Malaysia. Our version has a unique Thai-inspired twist. Traditionally, Nasi Goreng is often prepared using sambal, which can include ingredients such as shrimp, shallots, lime, vinegar, and other seasonings. At Tsuki, we use Thai chilli paste instead, giving the dish a distinct flavour profile. The dish was created by our consultant chef, Chef Seefah, and we have developed and presented it in our own style. We prepare it using Thai jasmine rice along with Thai chilli paste, creating a flavourful fusion of Indonesian and Thai influences.

The Culinary Journey

The Chef’s Story

My journey into hospitality began soon after junior college. With several members of my family having worked in the industry for decades, hospitality always felt familiar to me, and my passion for the profession developed naturally. In 2014, I completed my Diploma in Culinary Arts and began building a career that has now spanned almost 12 years. Throughout this journey, I have had the privilege of working alongside renowned Indian chefs such as Chef Ajay Chopra and Chef Vicky Ratnani, as well as accomplished Thai and Cantonese chefs. Every kitchen has been a classroom, introducing me to new cuisines, cultures, ingredients, flavours and cooking techniques. These experiences have shaped not only my technical skills but also the way I approach food—with curiosity, discipline and respect for each ingredient. Today, I work as the Lead Chef at Tsuki, one of Pune’s well-known Pan-Asian restaurants. My exposure to different Asian culinary traditions continues to influence my cooking, helping me create dishes that balance authentic techniques with thoughtful, contemporary presentation. For me, being a chef is a continuous journey of learning and discovery. Every service, ingredient and interaction in the kitchen offers an opportunity to grow, refine my craft and create memorable dining experiences.
